The survey will help ASCs measure current safety practices, identify trends and implement best practices for establishing and maintaining a culture of safety in their facility. “ASCs can use this tool to assess the core values and behaviors that assure safety is a priority in their facility, helping them deliver high quality care and an optimal patient experience,” said ASCA Chief Executive Officer Bill Prentice. “Patient safety has always been a cornerstone of the ASC model and using this survey will assist ASCs in assuring that there are no communication barriers to maintaining that focus.” "We're excited about our long-term partnership with ASCA to make outpatient surgery safer,” said Dr. Stephen Punzak, founder and chief executive officer of 1MP. “As a company, we want to give back to the ASC community that has been so good to us for the last two decades. Recognizing that every dollar counts, 1MP wants to make this survey affordable so that every ASC, no matter how small, can participate. That’s why we priced this survey at just $100 a year." ASCA members and nonmembers will be able to sign up for the survey beginning March 10, 2020.
